Location – Surgical Ward, St Stephens Hospital

Classification – Registered Nurse

Remuneration Value: Level 2 position, $44.14-$47.29 p/h (FTE $87, 220 - $93, 445), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.



St Stephens are inviting applications from experienced Surgical Nurses to join their team on the beautiful Fraser Coast.

People caring for people

You will provide exceptional patient care whilst assessing and responding appropriately to clinical nursing issues and concerns. Based on your experience, you will assisting with providing supervision and guidance within a multi-disciplinary team, through effective decision making and support.


You’ll be an experienced practitioner, with a minimum of 2 years within a post-surgical environment and a commitment to ongoing quality improvement initiatives. You’ll be an advocate for person-centred care, leading by example through exceptional communication and customer service. You’ll present with:

  • Complex problem-solving and assessment skills
  • Experience coordinating care provision within a large team
  • Ability to manage conflict, pressures and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ongoing professional development
