Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health Team at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital in a Permanent Full Time position.


Remuneration Value: $48.50 - $54.84 p/h + 10.5% Super + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging Value + Shift Penalties/Allowances

Your Role:


With a focus on delivering high quality, clinical care to patients within an acute setting, you will work alongside a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary Allied Health team to deliver exceptional person-centred outcomes, bringing an open and collaborative approach to patient centred-care.


Working with patients to maximise their physical potential and restore movement and function, you will provide treatment integral to recovery from surgery, illness and injury. With a focus on delivering high-quality, clinical care to patients within an acute setting, you'll recognise the importance of multi-disciplinary apporaches to rehabilitation; bringing an open, collaborative approach to patient-centred care. 


You will need:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an acute tertiary hospital
  • Experience in acute cardiorespiratory, critical care and surgical (cardiothoracic) settings will be highly regarded
  • Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
  • Exceptional communication skills and a focus on patient-centred care
  • Commitment to teamwork and quality improvements
  • Ability to work a flexible 7 day roster

Selection Criteria Essential: A minimum of 3 years in an Acute Tertiary Hospital setting
Essential: Experience in Acute Cardiorespiratory, Critical Care and Surgical (Cardiothoracic) - highly desirable
Essential: Be available for weekend and on call rostering as per operationally required
Essential: Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and a high level of communication skills.
Essential: Do you currently hold your AHPRA registration?
