Expression of Interest | Manager, Quality and Safety 

We are seeking expressions of interest for the role of Manager, Quality and Safety on a full time basis for a fixed term period of 12 months.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the successful candidate will be able to lead and develop a team of clinicians to provide contemporary safety, risk and quality initiatives according to the strategic direction and goals of The Wesley Hospital and UnitingCare.

The role includes implementing quality and safety improvements, reviewing and reporting processes required by legislation, and understanding the effectiveness of the quality of our hospital services, and being able to demonstrate the outcomes from this work. 

To be successful in this role, you will require the following:

• Clinical Tertiary qualifications and experience in Quality Management Systems.
• Experience in leading the implementation of organisation wide quality initiatives in a healthcare environment.
• A thorough understanding of accreditation requirements.
• Able to work effectively both operationally and strategically within broad organisational parameters.
• Experience in establishing systems or process review and providing information on quality of care and services.
• Consultative and collaborative leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate individuals and multi-disciplinary teams through coaching and positive role modelling.
