Position Summary

Employment Status: Permanent Part Time, 32 hours a week

Location: Buderim Private Hospital

Classification: Registered Nurse – Level 2

Remuneration Value:  $46.37-$49.68 p/h (FTE $91, 627 - $98,167), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.

 

Buderim Private Hospital are inviting applications from experienced clinical nurses to apply for a permanent part time opportunity within their Special Care Nursery!

The Special Care Nursery has 12 beds and is supported by highly experienced neonatal intensive care trained staff, lactation consultants and midwives. Paediatric support is also offered 24 hours a day.

 

About The Role:

You will accountable for the provision of safe, holistic nursing care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating effectively to deliver exceptional person-centred care.

 

You’ll demonstrate a commitment to person-centred care through exceptional communication, customer service skills and an ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. You’ll present with:

  • Minimum 3+ years post graduate nursing experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Special Care Nursery
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Current and unconditional dual registration as an RN/RM
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Qualification equivalent to or above Special Care Nursery

Selection Criteria Essential: Dual registration as an RN/RM
Essential: Qualification equivalent to or above a Special Care Nursery Certificate
Essential: Are you an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or New Zealand passport holder?
Essential: At least 3 years recent experience in the Special Care Nursery
