About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Business Performance Analyst to join the team at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital. This full time role will partner with the Senior Leadership Team in order to provide a detailed and comprehensive view of the revenue, team performance and strategic insights from a reporting perspective.
The successful applicant will ideally present with the following:
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, business or a related field with CA/CPA or similar
- 5+ years’ experience in a performance analyst or management accounting position in a hospital/health related organisation
- Experience in business finance analysis to support business cases, investments, divestments etc.
- An understanding of the framework, principles and obligations relating to the private/public health sector including health funds and related issue
- Ability to understand a business, the drivers of its key financial components (e.g. Revenue, Labour, Supply, etc) and to translate this understanding into appropriate advice for non-finance staff to assist them in effectively managing their business.
- Extensive use and development of CPM and business intelligence tools, and ability to analyse/explain (oral and in writing) underlying issues
- Sound communication reasoning and stakeholder management skills including advanced listening, verbal and written skills and ability to communicate with non-financial managers
