Remuneration Value: $55.49 - $62.38 p/h (FTE $109, 648 - $123, 262), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave. 

 

The Wesley Hospital is currently inviting applications for the position of Clinical Nurse Educator supporting the Perioperative Services Team.

About the Role:


We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to deliver education across our Perioperative Services Team. As an enthusiastic and experienced perioperative nurse, your passion for this area is evident in your desire to impart knowledge and skills to your peers.

 

You will play an integral role in the provision of comprehensive perioperative education, working to achieve the best learning outcomes through creating an open and supporting learning culture.

 

You will confidently coordinate the allocation of education resources and individuals, and expertly manage the conflicting priorities that arise in a clinical education environment. You will join and be supported by a passionate and collaborative team of experienced Clinical Facilitators and Nurse Educators, led by the Director of Clinical Education.

 

Your Background:


In applying, you will demonstrate at least 5 years clinical experience with a passion for clinical teaching and education. You’ll demonstrate:

  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Extensive experience in a Perioperative environment with scrub/scout experience essential
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Have or be working towards a Post Graduate Qualification and Cert IV Workplace Training and Assessment is highly desirable
  • Previous experience working in/delivering education within Perioperative Services highly desirable
  • Ability to work both autonomously and effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Minimum 5 years scrub/scout experien
