- Remuneration Value: $38.88 -$ 54.03 p/h + 9.5% employee contribution to super + 25% casual loading
St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiac Scientist to join their Cardiac Cath Lab team in a casual position.
About the Role:
Working collaboratively as part of our multidisciplinary Cath Lab team, you will apply your clinical knowledge across a range of procedures including: cardiac catheterisation, coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions, electrophysiology, and cardiac rhythm device therapy.
As an experienced and dynamic Cardiac Scientist, you will demonstrate:
- Bachelor of Applied Science, with strong human physiology component
- Experience in diagnostic cardiac catheterisation, coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention procedures
- Post-Graduate clinical experience in a cardiovascular suite performing haemodynamic monitoring
- Post-graduate clinical experience in cardiac electrophysiology & cardiac rhythm device therapy implant procedures is not essential, but highly desirable
- Knowledge of and ability to apply basic principles of cardiac pacing
- High level communication skills
- Well developed organisation skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
