Position Summary |
Employment Status: Permanent Part Time and Full Time
Location: The Wesley Hospital, ICU
Classification: Registered Nurse, Level 2
Remuneration Value: $44.14-$47.29 p/h (FTE $87, 220 - $93, 445), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.
The Wesley Hospital is calling for internal applicants to apply for a Clinical Nurse position within the ICU Ward!
People caring for people:
As a Clinical Nurse you will provide exceptional patient care in the areas of your clinical expertise whilst assessing and responding appropriately to clinical nursing issues and concerns. Based on your experience, you will assist with providing supervision and guidance within a multi-disciplinary team, through effective decision making and support.
You will be an experienced practitioner confident in best practice Intensive/Critical Care nursing, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
You will demonstrate a passion for delivering person-centred care through living our values and present with:
- Minimum of 5 years ICU experience
- Involved in quality improvement and audit activities
- Well-developed communication and customer service skills
- Previous experience coordinating care provision with a large team
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and remain patient-focused under pressure
- Willingness to be flexible and available for rostered shifts
Post graduate qualifications are desired but not essential.
