About the opportunity

 

Group ICT are currently recruiting for a Service Desk Officer which will report to the Service Desk Manager, Service Desk.  The Service Desk Officer will be responsible for the administration and delivery of IT infrastructure support services to the UnitingCare Queensland (UCQ) staff.

 

The key function of this role is to provide highly effective Level 1 IT infrastructure support for the diverse staff of UnitingCare Queensland and its Service Groups. The scope of the support includes managing incidents and requests in accordance with agreed procedures and documenting findings and results.

 

The successful applicant will bring:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in providing Service Desk support in a medium or large business environment with demonstrated experience in Activity Directory, Exchange, Citrix, and Microsoft products.
  • A demonstrated ability to work within an ITIL aligned support environment, particularly Incident Management and Request Management
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and communication skills to work with a range of UCQ staff and vendors.
  • Excellent customer service skills preferably with demonstrated experience providing customer focused service-delivery in an IT environment.
