We are currently seeking multiple Patient Services Officers to join our medical administration team at The Wesley Hospital.
The Patient Administration team pride themselves on providing, timely and accurate processing of information to both internal and public customers of the hospital. These roles will be responsible for providing high quality customer service and the provision of clerical and administrative duties, processing accurate and efficient information in a timely manner. Reception coverage may also be a component of your role.
These roles will be offered as Permanent Part-Time opportunities OR Casual, depending on your availability.
As a Level 2 opportunity, we offer $26.04 -$27.36 p/hour + Superannuation.
Casual employees are additionally entitled to 23% loading in addition to their base rate. Permanent employees are able to access salary packaging to significantly increase their take home pay.
About You:
As an experienced Medical Administrator, you will demonstrate a passion for exceptional customer service and person-centred care. You will be comfortable with managing your time effectively and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You will have:
- Prior hospital or health experience (Essential)
- Knowledge and understanding of Medical Terminology;
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to meet customer, patient and organisational needs.
- Demonstrated experience in use of technology to deliver efficient administrative services
- High level data entry and word processing skills
