Remuneration Value:  $26.59 - $28.59 p/hour (FTE $52, 541 - $56, 493) + 9.5% employee contribution to super +23% casual loading

 

The Wesley Hospital are inviting applications from experienced Chefs to apply for casual positions within Food Services Team!

People caring for people:

With a strong focus on quality, the Food Service Chefs aim to achieve exceptional food production and presentation to the patients, families and employees of The Wesley Hospital. 

 

You will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, hygiene and storage with a focus on delivering well-presented and nourishing food.

 

You’ll demonstrate a positive attitude, a proven work ethic and ability to communicate professionally within a team environment. You’ll be prepared to undertake continuous training to maintain, update and diversify your skills and demonstrate:

  • Trade Qualifications in general cookery, with a minimum of two years post apprenticeship experience;
  • Demonstrated experience in high volume catering
  • Comprehensive understanding of food safety standards, cleaning chemical and industrial cleaning equipment
  • Availability to commence work from 6:00AM
