Position Summary

Located in Hervey Bay in sunny Queensland, St Stephens Hospital’s brand new facility provides the only not-for-profit private hospital service on the Fraser Coast.  As Australia’s first fully integrated digital hospital, this state-of-the-art ‘hospital of the future’ provides vital services and showcases how technology can transform the healthcare experience

 

On Offer:

 

Due to the opening of our new Day Rehab service, we are currently seeking several experienced Receptionist to join our Allied Health Unit at St Stephens in a new Permanent Part Time opportunity.

 

Responsible for the provision of quality administration for this unit, you will provide exceptional customer service for patients and visitors.

 

You will apply sound interpersonal communication and organisational skills in liaising with a wide range of health professionals, patients and visitors, with a commitment to integrity and confidentiality when dealing with personal information.

 

These positions will be offered as Level 2.1 opportunities under our Clerical Agreement, offering $26.04 p/hour + Super + Salary Packaging. These roles will work approximately 2 days p/week.  

 

About You:

 

You will demonstrate:

  • Experience working within a hospital or healthcare environment (Essential)
  • Demonstrated experience working with medical terminology at an advanced level (Essential)
  • Certificate in Medical Terminology (Desirable)
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, with conflicting priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and work unsupervised, quickly and efficiently;
