Located in the beautiful beach region of the Sunshine Coast, Buderim Private Hospital has grown to be one of the coasts largest private hospitals. We provide patients with a wide range of services including Maternity, Intensive Care, Cardiovascular, Vascular, Obstetric and Gynaecology, General Surgery, Urology, Cancer Care, General Medicine, Renal and Respiratory Services, Mental Health, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, Orthopaedic, Rehabilitation and much more.

We are currently seeking to appoint a Clinical Nurse Specialist to our PACU and DOSA areas. This appointment will be in a Permanent Part Time capacity, with a base hourly roster of 76 hours p/fortnight.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist you will apply best nursing practice with the aim of ensuring optimal patient outcomes and the exceptional provision of care. With a focus on achieving unit outcomes, you will design and facilitate programs and apply your team leadership and direction skills to achieve key objectives.
You will promote a cooperative work environment with the goal of improving clinical outcomes, and assess and respond appropriately to nursing issues and concerns.
In applying, you will demonstrate:
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience within a Theatre environment
- Current AHPRA Registration and Current Practicing Certificate
- Tertiary and post graduate qualifications in nursing
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Sound organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Previous supervisors or Team Leadership experience
