Our Opportunity:


We are currently seeking to appoint a Clinical Nurse to join our Stomal Therapy / Wound Management team in a new permanent part time opportunity.


As a Clinical Nurse in this department, you will 

  • Provide Exceptional customer service skills focused on exceeding patient expectations
  • Commit to achieving optimal patient outcomes through the use of effective clinical knowledge and professional standards of practice
  • Apply clinical practice that ensures and promotes a safe environment for optimal patient health
  • Effectively and accurately exchange, retrieve and manage information relevant to your role
  • Exercise authority through appropriate decision making
  • Apply sound knowledge of principles of clinical and workplace risk management, including incident management

As an experienced nurse, you will present with well-developed communication and customer service skills, with a passion for delivering person-centred care through a strong alignment to our values. You’ll be adept at managing conflicting priorities whilst remaining patient-focused under time pressures.


As a member of a specialist team, you will also present with a sound degree of wound and stoma knowledge, and general knowledge regarding skin integrity and pressure injuries.


You’ll demonstrate:

  • Relevant and recent post-registration nursing experience in relevant speciality area
  • Desirable post-registration qualifications relevant to the area of nursing practice
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of WHS practices
  • Complex problem-solving and assessment skills
  • Implementation of improvements and initiatives to clinical practice.

Remuneration value: Level 2 position, $44.14-$47.29 p/h (FTE $87, 220 - $93, 445), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.

Remuneration Level 3 applies to those with post graduate qualications applicable and relevant to this role. 

Remuneration value:
Level 3 position, $51.53-$57.93 p/h (FTE $101, 823 - $114, 469), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.
