Position Summary

We currently have an opportunity for a Food Services Purchasing Store Person to join our team in a Permanent-Part Time capacity


Remuneration Value: $27.67 - $30.28 p/hour + 10.5% Super + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging Value + Shift Penalties/Allowances + Discounted Onsite Staff Parking

Your Role:


You’ll be responsible for all food and related purchasing, receiving, rotating as well as the storing of both perishable and non-perishable supplies.


The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Sound knowledge of Food Safety HACCP Control policies and procedures 
  • Adherence to WPH&S processes and policies including manual handling, storage and safe use of chemicals.
  • An ability to manually handle the movement and transference of a significant levels of stock
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work well with other departments
  • A strong solution-based attitude, with an ability to be proactive, solve problems and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement  
  • Exposure to food industry, with an understanding of special dietary requirements and thickened fluids
  • A willingness to undertake any relevant training in relation to the role 
  • The ability to support innovation and change within the department and organisation
  • Good computer skills including a working knowledge of SAP inventory and accounting software or similar application and various computer-based applications.
