Remuneration Value:  Level 3 Position, $50.03 - $54.03 p/h, 9.5% employee contribution to super + 25% casual loading

 

We are currently inviting applications from experienced Occupational Therapists interested in working casual shifts at The Wesley and St Andrews War Memorial Hospital.


Our Metro Allied Health team delivers best practice, multi-disciplinary services to our patients in The Wesley and St Andrews, through Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy and more.

 

About The Role:

The Occupational Therapy team provides clinical services within acute, inpatient rehabilitation and day therapy areas. We are seeking experienced Casual Occupational Therapists who are  interested in and available to cover annual leave, professional development leave and sick leave across the continuum of service as well as contribute to our weekend rehabilitation service. The role will work across both The Wesley and St Andrews War Memorial Hospitals depending on the clinical need.

 

As a qualified practitioner, you’ll recognise the importance of multi-disciplinary approaches to rehabilitation, bringing an open, collaborative approach to patient-centred care.

 

You’ll present with:

  • Tertiary Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in an acute hospital environment (or comparable environment)
  • Strong evidence based clinical practice and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional time-management skills, with ability to prioritise patient load
  • Availability  - Note school hours availability will be considered
  • MoCA Certification desirable
