Employment Status: Fixed Term, Full Time
Location: St Andrews War Memorial Hospital
Classification: Registered Nurse – Level 3 $55.49 - $62.38 p/h (FTE $109, 648 - $123, 262), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.
St Andrews War Memorial Hospital is currently inviting internal applications for a 4 month contract as Acting Clinical Nurse Manager for their Orthopaedics Ward.

The Role:
As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide advanced management, professional leadership and operational direction for the Orthopaedics Unit. You will ensure exceptional delivery of patient-centred care, through high quality clinical service outcomes.
This is a full-time 4 month contract.
As an experienced Clinician, you will demonstrate passion for the provision of exceptional patient centred care and present with:
- 5+ years’ experience in an Orthopaedic setting
- Bachelor of Nursing Degree with current unconditional AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship to Clinical Nurses, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and AIN’s
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within a multidisciplinary team, patients and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and participation in quality improvement projects
