Position Summary |
The Wesley Hospital is seeking expressions of interest from current employees for the following role:
- Business Development Coordinator
- Full-time (38 hours per week)
The position reports to the Business Development Manager and is responsible for coordinating business development events at The Wesley Hospital, including developing and delivering communication to stakeholders, upholding brand integrity, and forming strong relationships and communication channels with the Wesley Hospital’s internal and external clinical community.
As the Business Development Coordinator you will be accountable for:
- Preparing and maintaining the hospital’s Business Development calendar in conjunction with the Business Development Manager;
- Developing, implementing and coordinating clinical and business engagement events;
- Developing and managing event budgets for each event including invoicing, payments and sponsorship;
- Developing and managing communication with event attendees;
- Developing and maintaining relationships within the UCH community, VMP’s, Doctors, General Practitioners, Practice Managers and local community;
- Developing and maintaining business development databases including email addresses and external databases;
- In conjunction with the Wesley Communications Officer, develop marketing material for new VMPs.
- Website management of VMP profiles and clinical education.
To perform the duties of this role you will have:
- RACGP endorsement for provision of CPD training and accreditation for delivering active learning modules;
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Business Development field or equivalent is desirable;
- Demonstrated experience interacting with the medical community including GP’s and specialists;
- Intermediate computer literacy skills with excellent data entry skills;
- Superior interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels;
- Demonstrated budget management, event and function management experience;
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
