Position Summary

St Stephens Hospital are currently looking for experienced Oncology Registered Nurses to join their team in Hervey Bay.

Your Role:

 

We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a passion for patient centred care to join our Oncology Unit at St Stephens Hospital.

 

You will accountable for the provision of safe, holistic nursing care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating effectively to deliver exceptional person-centred care.

 

We are offering several permanent full time, part time and casual opportunities.

 

Your Background:

 

You’ll demonstrate a commitment to person-centred care through exceptional communication, customer service skills and an ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. You’ll present with:

  • Minimum 2+ years post graduate experience within Oncology environment
  • Clinical competence in Intravenous Cannulation & CVC/PORT Management
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Current Registration with AHPRA and full Australian Working Entitlements

As a Registered Nurse, we offer $33.72 - $43.34 p/hour + Super commensurate with your experience. As a not-for-profit hospital, we also offer access to competitive salary-packaging options.
