Our Opportunity:

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Coder to join our team at St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital.

 

The team at St Andrews pride themselves on providing timely and exceptional customer service with a focus on data quality. We’re seeking a motivated and professional senior coder to bring a high level of knowledge and practical experience to the team.

 

This opportunity will be offered as a Permanent Full Time opportunity based in our central location in Spring Hill. We are also open to Permanent Part Time applicant.

 

About You:

 

As a Senior Coder, you will demonstrate:

  • 5 years’ experience in a Senior coding role
  • Sound knowledge of casemix implications and requirements
  • Practical knowledge of and experience in the current disease classification
  • Successful completion of a recognised ICD-10-AM coding course
  • Exposure to continuous quality improvement activities and initiatives
  • Previous experience educating and training junior coders
