Remuneration Value:  Level 5 Position, $65.22 -$69.19. p/h (FTE $128,874.72 - $136,719.44), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging 

 

The Wesley Hospital is currently seeking a Chief Cardiac Radiographer to join their Cardiac Catheter Theatre.

About the Role:

This full time permanent position will manage and coordinate Cardiac Radiography services for The Wesley Hospital, whilst working in close collaboration with other UnitingCare Hospital facilities in order to appropriately staff and service Cardiac Catheter Theatres.  It will also maintain an active clinical role in providing imaging services within the Cardiac Catheter Theatres.

 

The successful applicant will ideally present with:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a qualified radiographer
  • Bachelor of Applied Science – Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
  • Current Queensland Radiation USE Licence
  • Current APRHA Registration
  • Eligibility for ASMIRT Membership
  • Queensland licence of USE Irradating Apparatus
  • Extensive experience in Cardiac, Vascular radiography and CT
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build and maintain positive relationships with patients, staff, referrers and hospital management
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing skill development

Selection Criteria Essential: Minimum 5years experience as a qualified radiographer
