Buderim Private Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Radiographer to join their Cardiac and Vascular Theatre in a casual position.


About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Cardiac Radiographer to provide casual imaging services in our Cardiac Catheter Theatre, ensuring efficient and timely service provision to Cardiologists and Vascular Surgeons. 


The successful applicant will have proven experience in radiographic technique, and a good knowledge of cardiac and vascular angiography. They will also demonstrate a high standard of patient care, have initiative and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team environment.


To be eligible for consideration for this role you will demonstrate:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science - Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
  • Possess a licence to use irradiating apparatus
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in interventional radiography particularly cardiac, vascular and pain
  • Ability to work flexible hours on an ‘on-call’ roster


This is a casual position with the opportunity to move onto a permanent part-time contract in future.

Selection Criteria Essential: Experience with Cardiac radiography
Not Essential: Experience with vascular, pain and interventional radiography
Essential: Ability to work flexible hours 'on call' roster
Essential: Do you have unlimited working entitlements in Australia as an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or New Zealand Passport Holder?
Essential: Are you currently AHPRA registered?
