Position Summary

We’re seeking Registered Nurse/Midwives to join our Maternity Unit at The Wesley Hospital in permanent full-time, part-time or casual positions.


Remuneration Value: $36.85- $47.37 p/h (FTE $72,824 - $93,603) + 10% + Super + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging Value + Shift Penalties/Allowances + Discounted Onsite Parking

The Role:


Our highly experienced Maternity Team are dedicated to providing guidance and support to our mothers-to-be every step of the way. We offer the latest technology and facilities including:

  • Five spacious birthing suites
  • 29 bed ward and maternity rooms with private ensuite facilities
  • A 12 bed Special Care Nursery, supported by highly experienced neonatal intensive care trained staff, lactation consultants and midwives

Working as a Registered Midwife/Nurse within our Maternity Ward, you will accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals and their families, providing effective postnatal, maternal and newborn care to women and their newborn infant.


You’ll deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills. 


You will Need:

  • Minimum 12 months post graduate experience as a Registered Midwife/Nurse 
  • Bachelor of nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse & Midwife
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Post-registration qualifications relevant to the area of nursing practice - desirable
