Classification: Registered Nurse – Level 3
Remuneration Value: $52.82-$59.38 p/h (FTE $104, 372 - $117, 334), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.
The St Andrews War Memorial Hospital is inviting Experienced Nurses with experience in Cardiac Cath Labs to apply for a full time 12 month contract (maternity leave) opportunity!

In 2015 the St Andrews War Memorial Hospital was the first private hospital in Queensland to carry out Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation (TAVI) procedures. Just within the last year, there have been were 200 of these procedures completed. The Cardiac Team also utilises Impella devices to assist with the care and service provided to patients during their stay.
People caring for people:
As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide advanced management, professional leadership and operational direction for the Cardiac Catheter Theatre services. You will ensure exceptional delivery of patient-centred care, through high quality clinical service outcomes.
A diverse role, you will:
- Achieve optimal patient outcomes and objectives through effective leadership and direction
- Build a cooperative working environment between members of a multi-disciplinary team, applying your communication and team leadership skills.
- Manage performance related conversations with team members, including opportunities for development, learning, and improvement.
- Maintain professional standards of practice through the evaluation of services and through applying key management strategies
As an experienced clinician, you will demonstrate a clear passion for Cardiac Catheter Theatre, and the provision of exceptional person-centred care.
You will have:
- 5 years recent clinical expertise and skills in Cardiac Catheter Lab
- Leadership skills in provision of comprehensive evidence-based patient centred care
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Exposure and skills in financial and people management
