Position Summary

St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital is a 250 bed facility in Spring Hill. Facilities at St Andrew’s include 15 theatres, three cardiology catheter laboratories, endoscopy suites, an intensive care unit and emergency centre. St Andrew’s is a world leader in patient outcomes for many of our specialties. We achieve this by attracting the best staff and medical practitioners and carefully auditing and improving on the outcomes of our treatments.

 

Our Allied Health Division provides exceptional support to the community and patients of St Andrews across a range of Allied Health services.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to become an integral member of our team in a Casual capacity.

 

As a leader in Allied Health, St Andrews offers you a rare opportunity to work with a diverse patient load within a multi-disciplinary team.

 

Primarily assisting in day rehabilitation and outpatients you will work with a diverse patient base including a neurological and musculoskeletal case load.

 

If successful you will present with: 

  • Tertiary Degree in Exercise Physiology or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Current unconditional registration with ESSA
  • Minimum of two years post-graduate relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a higher level of clinical reasoning and decision making based on current best practice
  • Demonstrated experience managing your time effectively with a flexible approach to your work
  • Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety and clinical risk management requirements
  • A commitment to continuing professional development
