Position Summary

The Wesley are currently inviting applications from Registered or Enrolled Nurses, experienced in Anaesthetics, to join their Theatre team.

With 19 operating theatres, The Wesley Hospital is the largest private hospital operating campus in Queensland, undertaking up to 750 operations per week. The Wesley was recently recognised as a Centre of Excellence in Robotic Surgery and Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery - a clear indication of the Wesley’s commitment to exceeding clinical benchmarks and providing highly specialised care.

 

 

People caring for people:

 

As an Anaesthetic Nurse, you will play a critical role in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of the perioperative patient. You will recognise and respond to the changing needs of the patient, and pre-empt and protect their rights and safety through strong patient advocacy.

 

You’ll demonstrate a commitment to person-centred care through exceptional communication, collaboration, and an ability to work effectively within a team. You’ll present with:

  • Minimum 12 months Anaesthetic nursing within an acute care setting
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Ability to work flexible rotating roster
  • Current Registration with AHPRA / Full Australian Working Entitlements

Remuneration value: Level 1 position, $33.72-$43.34 p/h (FTE $66, 630 - $85, 639), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.
