Classification: Registered Nurse – Level 3

Remuneration Value:  $54.14-$60.86 p/h (FTE $106, 980 - $120, 259), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.

People caring for people:

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the Clinical Care Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance to the wards by facilitating an end to end patient experience. You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring discharge planning is undertaken in a timely and coordinated manner to optimise patient outcomes and length of stay.
  • Develop and maintain open communication with the Health Information Unit and seek to resolve issues with clinical documentation that impact the clinical coding and billing/revenue functions
  • Assist in the education of relevant hospital employees on casemix and revenue issues that relate to clinical documentation deficiencies.

 

As an experienced Clinician you will present with:

  • Minimum of 5 years orthopaedic experience
  • Current and unconditional AHPRA registration
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
