We’re inviting internal applications for a Clinical Nurse in our Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Ward at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital

 

Remuneration Value: $47.53 - $50.92 p/h (FTE $93, 919 - $100,618) + Super + NFP Salary Packaging + Shift Penalties + Allowances

The Role:


As a Clinical Nurse in 2F, you will provide exceptional patient care in the areas of your clinical expertise whilst assessing and responding appropriately to clinical nursing issues and concerns. Providing supervision and guidance within a multi-disciplinary team through effective decision making and support, you will lead by example through exceptional communication, customer service and patient advocacy. You’ll demonstrate:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Cardiac, Thoracic or Vascular environment
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload
  • Commitment to clinical quality & improvements as well as team development

This is 12 month fixed term opportunity, with potential for extension or permanency based on performance and ward requirements.

Selection Criteria Essential: Do you have unlimited working entitlements in Australia as an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or New Zealand Passport Holder?

Essential: Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship to other Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistant in Nursing
