Position Summary

Employment Status: Permanent Part-Time – 32 hours per week

Location: Buderim Private Hospital - Theatres

 

Buderim Private Hospital are inviting internal applications from experienced Perioperative Nurses for a Clinical Specialist Role – Prosthetics and Consignments!

 

About the Role:

Reporting to the Peri-operative Services Manager, you will work closely with Level 2 Nurses, Scrub Scout Nurses and Specialists to ensure the provision of appropriate Surgical Prosthetics. You will be responsible for managing the prosthetics and consignment stock within the Perioperative Services, liaising with the Supply department to ensure correct products are ordered and work with surgical companies to manage consignment stock.

 

You will have clinical knowledge to support the perioperative team to improve workflows relating to prosthetics and consignment stock management to improve patient care and service delivery.

 

As an experienced Perioperative Nurse, you will present with the following:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Peri-Operative Nurse
  • Ability to plan and coordinate patient care requiring prosthetics
  • Demonstrated understanding of stock management – prosthetics and consignment
  • Ability to use or learn information systems (SAP)
  • Ability to work supportively within a team and diverse range of stakeholders
  • Current and unconditional AHPRA registration
