St Stephen's Hospital in Hervey Bay is Australia's first fully integrated digital hospital. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join the Rehabilitation Unit in the role of Clinical Nurse Manager. As Clinical Nurse Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Rehabilitation Unit, achieving set KPIs and working on initiatives across the unit, facility and organisation. As the Clinical Nurse Manager you will be accountable for:
- Achieving optimal patient care and organisational objectives through the use of effective management strategies, leadership, direction and team building;
- Assessing and responding appropriately to clinical nursing issues and concerns;
- Maintaining professional standards of practice through the evaluation of nursing services;
- Developing and managing a budget to acheive financial and organisational goals;
- Demonstrating application of the principles of clinical and workplace risk management;
- Identifying trends and variances through data analysis to support decision making;
- Acheiving continuous Quality Improvement to optimise customer service and organisation outcomes, whilst complying with National Safety and Quality Standards.
Ideally, the successful applicant will demonstrate the following criteria:
- Current general registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA;
- High level post registration experience and clinical competence within a Rehabilitation environment;
- Extensive clinical experience including recent roles in a leadership / management capacity;
- Exceptional organisational skills.
