Position Summary

Employment Status: 6 month contract, 30 hours per week

Location: St Andrews War Memorial Hospital

Classification: Allied Health Level 2 and Level 3

Remuneration Value: Level 2 - $37.00-$45.47 p/h (FTE $73, 112 - $89, 848), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging


Level 1 3- $47.62-$51.42 p/h (FTE $94, 097 - $101, 611), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging


St Andrews War Memorial Hospital is inviting applications experienced Physiotherapists to join their Acute Allied Health team!

Our Metro Allied Health team delivers best practice, multi-disciplinary services to our patients in The Wesley and St Andrews, through Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy and more.


People caring for people:


With a focus on delivering high-quality, clinical support to patients within an acute setting, you will work alongside a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional person-centred outcomes.


An experienced practitioner, you’ll recognise the importance of multi-disciplinary approaches to rehabilitation, bringing an open, collaborative approach to patient-centred care. You’ll present with:

  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience within acute hospital setting
  • Degree in Physiotherapy and current unconditional AHPRA registration
  • Extensive evidence of a high level of clinical problem solving skills
  • Exceptional time-management skills, with ability to prioritise workloads across multiple disciplines
  • Availability to work as part of a rotation roster which includes, weekend work, late night on call shifts.


Experience within The Wesley Hospital or St Andrews War Memorial Hospital is desirable but not essential.

Selection Criteria Essential: Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution
Essential: Minimum 3 years clinical experience in an acute hospital setting
Essential: Current and unconditional registration with AHPRA
Not Essential: Experience within Wesley or St Andrew's Hospital would be beneficial
