Position Summary

We’re seeking several Sterilisation Technicians to join our Perioperative Services Team at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital.


Remuneration Value: $27.66 - $30.28 per hour + 10.5% Super + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging Value + Shift Penalties/Allowances

Your Role:


As a CSSD Sterilisation Technician, you will be responsible for the reprocessing and sterilisation of surgical instruments and equipment to the Operating Theatres and clinical areas within the Hospital, through skilled, safe and efficient work practices.


You will demonstrate:

  • Certificate III in Sterilisation - Essential
  • Ability to work a rotating roster
  • Ability to maintain infection control standards
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required

Selection Criteria Essential: Do you have the flexibility to work a 24-hr rotating roster?
Essential: Do you have a Sterilising Certificate 3?
Essential: Do you have at least 12 months experience working in a similar role?
