Position Summary |
The Wesley is one of Queensland's largest private hospitals and has the most comprehensive range of private medical services in Australia. Our Metro Allied Health team delivers best practice, multi-disciplinary services to our patients in the Brisbane region, through Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy and more.
Our Opportunity:
The Wesley are currently accepting internal applications for the position of Rehabilitation Lead to based in our Auchenflower facility.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will partner with Head of Professions, Clinical Nurse Managers, and Hospital leaders to achieve first class interdisciplinary care, focused on person-centred outcomes.
You will provide leadership and clinical governance guidance, ensuring rehabilitation services are delivered safely, appropriately, efficiently and responsively. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will be an advocate for change and the advancement of allied health services across facilities.
This opportunity is being offered as a Level 5 Allied Health role, offering a full-time equivalent range between $120, 000 -130, 000 + Super p/year. As a not-for-profit hospital, there are also competitive salary-packaging options available.
This role is being offered as a Full Time Fixed Term opportunity.
About You:
As an experienced practitioner, you will be highly skilled in your field of Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy, with a passion for delivering best-practice clinical care.
Your approach to person-centred care aligns closely to our values, with strong interpersonal communication skills and an ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary approach to care.
Your proven clinical and team leadership skills position you as a capable people leader, with an ability to develop a multi-disciplinary team and effectively lead organisational improvements.
You demonstrate:
- Minimum 5 years relevant clinical experience in comparable setting
- Relevant tertiary/postgraduate qualifications
- Knowledge of private health fund contracts
- Ability to provide multi-disciplinary counsel
- Involvement in clinical governance skills and quality assurance activities
