What We’re Offering:


We’re seeking an experienced Physiotherapist with experience in acute neurological treatment, to join our multi-disciplinary team and work collaboratively to deliver exceptional person-centred care.  As an experienced physio, you will apply a strong level of acute knowledge in this specialty, contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of our physiotherapy offering and regularly collaborate with the head of physiotherapy.

 

You will apply your leadership skills in providing sound clinical supervision, developing rigorous departmental practices, and delivering quality clinical leadership to the allied heath team in your specialty.  As part of Metro Allied Health, you may also be required to work at The Wesley on occasion. We’re offering a 12 month fixed term contract, working 35 hours per week.

 

About You: 

 

As an experienced practitioner, you’ll demonstrate: 

  • Minimum of 3-4 years post-graduate practice, preferably within an acute setting
  • Experience with acute management of neurological patients, and the rehabilitation of neurological conditions.
  • Ideally, you will have some experience in Clinical Education.
  • Commitment to professional development, holding or working towards post graduate qualifications

Selection Criteria Essential: General acute hospital experience. Experience in acute management of neurological patients. Experience in Rehab of neurological conditions. Some experience in clinical education.
