Remuneration Value: Level 2 $26.59 - $28.59 p/hour (FTE $52, 541 - $56, 493) 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging
The Wesley are inviting applications for the role of Function Coordinator, ensuring the effective operation, quality and delivery of service excellence for functions within the facility.

People caring for people:
A diverse role you will liaise with all internal and external client requests to ensure all aspects of functions are detailed accurately, appropriately staffed, and delivered within budget. You’ll provide support and training for functions staff in the delivery of services for all conference catering and events, ensuring your teams are rostered effectively and meet mandatory requirements. Your commitment to food safety will ensure your operational procedures from food delivery to service are well documented and managed, compliant with internal and external food and alcohol safety standards.
With previous experience managing conference catering, plated dinners and cocktail functions you will have strong leadership skills - particularly with respect to people, safety and quality. With strong interpersonal communication skills, you’ll have a demonstrated ability to train, educate and motivate employees and liaise at all levels within a business environment.
With strong time management and organisational skills, you’ll be highly competent in managing conflicting priorities and using your communication skills to negotiate effective outcomes.
You’ll demonstrate:
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Desirable)
- Tertiary qualifications in Functions and Events (Desirable)
