Location: The Wesley Hospital and St Andrews War Memorial Hospital

Classification:  Allied Health Level 3

Remuneration Value: Level 3 Position, $47.62-$51.42 p/h + 9.5% employee contribution to super + 25% casual loading 

 

We are currently inviting applications from experienced Physiotherapists interested in working casual shifts across both The Wesley Hospital’s and St Andrews War Memorial Hospitals Rehab Units and Acute areas!

 

 

Our Metro Allied Health team delivers best practice, multi-disciplinary services to our patients in The Wesley and St Andrews, through Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy and more.

 

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Physiotherapists to join the team, who are interested in and have availability to do either/or both:

  • Work across both/either The Wesley (Auchenflower) and St Andrews (Spring Hill) in casual shifts over the weekends
  • Have availability to work weekday casual shifts (school hours welcomed) when needed at The Wesley Hospital

 

As an experienced practitioner, you’ll demonstrate a commitment to delivering person-centred, empathetic care through customer service and our values. You’ll have an open, collaborative approach when working in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team and present with:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Physiotherapist in a tertiary hospital setting
  • Exceptional time-management skills, with ability to manage diverse case mix
  • Neurological and/or Orthopaedic Experience is highly desirable but not essential
  • Full and unconditional AHPRA registration

Selection Criteria Not Essential: A minimum of 2 years in a Tertiary Hospital setting A minimum of 1 year in an Inpatient Rehabilitation setting Neuro experience and/or CPD desirable
