Sonographer / Mammographer | The Wesley Hospital 

  

Employment Term: Permanent Full Time, Part Time, Casual

Location: Auchenflower, just 5 mins from Toowong Shopping Village and 10 mins from Brisbane City

Remuneration: $40.25 - $67.52/ hr + 11% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

The Wesley Breast Clinic provides a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to breast care, offering a comprehensive range of services including a Breast Screening Program, Diagnostic Clinic, Imaging including MRIs and Consultation services.

 

The Clinic performs image guided interventional procedures in all modalities including Needle Core & Vacuum Assisted biopsies, Fine Needle Aspirations and Hookwire Localisations. It is responsible for all pre-operative localizations for breast surgery within the Wesley Hospital.

 

These services are supported by an experienced and passionate team of Radiologists, Surgeons, Clinical Geneticists, Pathologists, Nurses, Radiographers and Sonographers. The team is further supported by a robust Administration team and a Clinical Systems Manager dedicated to managing our RIS/PACS and database systems.

We offer a range of learning opportunities to our Imaging team, such as training positions in breast ultrasound, Sonography and Radiography upskilling and leadership development courses.

 

  • Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (General) or (Breast)  
  • ASAR Registration
  • Breast ultrasound skills are desirable
